I've set up two dev-sites for twitter bootstrap. one called bootstrap.xx.xx (on a subdomain) and the other is called åreknuter.xx (a "normal" domain).
Both on the same server, and have an identical set of files.

bootstrap.xx.xx works fine, but åreknuter.xx.xx does not...
so i keep getting JavaScript error "$ is undefined" from "http://Ã¥reknuter.xx.xx/assets/js/bootstrap-affix.js" etc.
"http://Ã¥reknuter.xx.xx" should be "http://åreknuter.xx.xx" i suppose

Is this a known/common issue?
How can I solve the problem?
