automatically customize bootstrap

I have tried to automatically customize boostrap:

When I download it I wonder why instead receiving css and js files, it offers me json file?

It's so different from the manual book that I read.

Anyone knows how to automatically customize bootstrap?

It's wanting you to use JSON to import and old setup to update. You need to make the changes and then scroll to the bottom and download it.
