    taking basic tabs from templates

I really dont know much about coding...
I am using the bootstrap templates and taking bits from each... however, when copying the 'basic tabs' from the admin2 template and pasting into ANY other template the formatting (panes and wells i think they are called) never comes through...

The functionality is there, in that there are the tab titles at the top, clicking on each changes the text beneath..... but there isn't spacing or boxes around the tab titles

is there something i am missing in the css? i've compared all the nav-tab settings in the css for both templates and they seem to match up...

-This is the template i am trying to paste the basic-tabs from:
    https://blackrockdigital.github.io/s...els-wells.html

-This is the tempalte i am pasting the tabs on to:
    https://blackrockdigital.github.io/s...ortfolio-item/

    any help much appreciated!!

Post the entire html code that you have tried, and make sure the css is linked too.

I'm new to Bootstrap, and I don't have much experience as I built only one website by means of one of the scuba diving wordpress themes. So, unfortunately, I can't help you. But I really want to know the answer, because I can face the same problem in future. I hope someone will help you. Good luck!
