    glyphicon is not showing

    Hi,

    when I load <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/css/bootstrap.min.css"> in the header, the glyphicons are showen on the webpage.
    But because I'll use https I want to load this file from my server. So I park it there it load it like <link rel="stylesheet" href="bootstrap/bootstrap.min.css" />.
    But now the glyphicons are not showen.

    Why! What to do?

    Have you checked that the min.css file is loading, can be found on your server? View source of the page and click on the link for the css file. Does it resolve? If not, you need to change the url.

    Yes, I can load the file from the server:
    http://www.mehlhop.com/bootstrap/bootstrap.min.css
    and the link at the header is
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="bootstrap/bootstrap.min.css" />

    So my problem is not solved.

    I see that your homepage uses a relative link (presently commented out), have you tried an absolute (to see if that fixes the issue?)?

    Ignore this. I was comparing apples and oranges. Also, when I compare your min.css to the cdn version it appears like yours is somewhat different. If you look at the source of your css then it looks the same (as the cdn), but spacing is missing when just viewing it directly. Weird. I would suggest dL'ing again.

    What you mean wit "dL'ing"?
    By the way, I tried to use a absolut path, but still the glyphicons are not visible.

    Sorry ... dL = download. I'm at a loss. Looking at your site, it just doesn't make sense. The call to the CDN is in the same place, so it's not a placement issue (assuming the CDN works properly, which it appears to do). Absolute path to local version does not work (and your sure you can click on it and get to it from the source of the page - sometimes a rewrite issue). Both versions appear to be the same, and have the same version number. There is absolutely no reason that I can think of that this should not work (unless you've modified your local css and I didn't notice it).

    Thanks to you all,
    I solved this issue in this way that I included te ssl version of the css and js-files (instead of http://.. I just add the "s" to https://... I dit not know that it is this easy. )
